CONCEPT AND BACKGROUND

Senior Citizens Bureau is a free guidance and information centre run by Senior Citizens for all age groups. The Bureau was found on 03-03-1996 by a group of Elders, imbued with the spirit of self-less service to the society, belonging to Probus Clubs and Several Senior Citizens Associations.

Thanks to Dr Capt M Singaraja and Mr S Radhakrishnan, IA&AS, for the entire exercise of preparing Bye-law and completing the formalities of Registration under Societies Act.

Mission & Vision Statement

Mission

   To give back to society something in return for all that it has done for us, exemplifying it through our Commitment to serve.

   To put to use the wealth of our collective wisdom and experience by providing free information and guidance to various sections of society

   To sensitize the community especially the youth about the social ethics and value system of our Society, especially in the care of the Aged, and inculcate the philosophy of Humanism
